About Being a Presenter

Central East Alberta Teachers’ Convention Association’s Program Planning Committee is now accepting proposals for sessions at its 2011 Convention to be held on Thursday, March 10 and Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.   Please review the information below for presenting at future conventions.

There is no guarantee that proposals that are received by CEATCA will be accepted as sessions at the Convention. You will be contacted if your session has been selected for our Program. Those proposals that have not been selected will be put into our files in case of cancellations and for future reference.

Proposed sessions should…

 ü  Motivate and inspire
ü  Improve teaching skills
ü  Introduce new teaching skills
ü  Increase teacher knowledge
ü  Provide opportunities to renew or develop collegial relationships and share ideas, concerns and solutions
ü  Provide relevant curriculum information
ü  Exchange information and ideas regarding current issues in education
